OVER 12 YEARS OF SUFFERRING...
For over twelve years, Ukraine has been passing through a furnace of suffering. Since 2014, and especially since the outbreak of the full-scale war in 2022, our people have been bleeding, mourning their dead, and defending their land and dignity. In the occupied territories, churches are being burned, pastors arrested, and faith put to the test — yet it does not die. We have witnessed genocide, razed cities, abducted children, mutilated bodies, and shattered lives.

The forces of evil have united. Iran and North Korea are supplying weapons to the Kremlin army. Dictatorial regimes have formed a terrorist alliance raised not only against Ukraine, but against the entire free world. We stand at the epicenter of a military and spiritual battle. This is a global confrontation between light and darkness, freedom and tyranny, truth and deception, life and death.
Destroyed sanctuaries
Persecution of Christians
In the occupied territories, Russian troops prohibit the activities of Evangelical, Protestant, Catholic, and certain Orthodox churches. Pastors are being kidnapped, churches are being closed, and their premises seized or set on fire.
Nearly 700 temples and churches of various denominations have been destroyed or damaged as a result of the military actions. More than 70 Ukrainian pastors and priests have been killed by Russian troops.
KEY FACTS:
Abduction of children by invaders
Civilian casualties
Every day, Ukraine loses civilians — children, women, and the elderly. Cities and villages are systematically shelled. Millions have been forced to leave their homes and flee to other cities and countries.
According to Ukrainian authorities, approximately 20,000 children have been unlawfully transferred to the Russian Federation. Only a small number have been returned to their families.
"The LORD also will be a stronghold for the oppressed,
A stronghold in times of trouble" PSALM 9:9 (NASB)
On August 23, on the eve of Ukraine’s Independence Day, we invite the whole world to lift its voices to Heaven.

Let us pray for protection, for healing, and for the victory of light.

May on this day churches, homes, and hearts across the entire planet be filled with prayer for Ukraine.
Because when we kneel together,
God raises His mighty hand!
That is why your prayer is urgently needed today
Let us unite
our hearts in prayer
Prayer has the power to change hearts, destinies, and even the course of history.
We ask you and your church to pray for the following needs:
For a just and lasting peace — that God would halt the war and that light would overcome darkness.
For the protection of Christians in the occupied territories and for all who minister under persecution.
For wisdom and courage among world leaders in confronting the dictatorial coalition of evil.
1
For the return of abducted children and healing for wounded families.
2
For global support — that the world would not grow weary of standing with Ukraine against evil.
